I would go almost anytime the crowds would light.
You can think I'm wrong, but that's no reason to quit thinking.

Yes, we would go. We DID go to Disneyland during the last Superbowl. It was quite crowded. There were way more strollers than usual nipping at our ankles!!! ouch!

My foot got ran over by 3 strollers the last time I went to Disney's California Adventure Park. Two said sorry, but this other RUDE RUDE mom just hurried on by with their child with a stern look on her face. Aren't Disney Parks supposed to have people enjoy life and enjoy the atmosphere around you? I'm part of that atmosphere!

    Lol.

Wonder if this will be one of my new topics.. Nvm, it might offend the moms with babies and toddlers (:

I'm nice to you people (:

Not Disneyland. Not the Aquarium of the Pacific. Not anywhere else kids want to go. It's actually a pretty busy day for famly venues. LOTS of ankle biters.

If I could get there, yes I would. I'm not like either of my parents; they love football, whereas I just get bored to tears watching it. And that...actually goes with any sports on tv. :lol

    Pros:
    - No (or a little) wait for a ride/food cart.
    - Not as polluted. (I guess)
    - You can ask for a front seat with ease (:
    - Miss the superbowl when it shows on TV live
    - Miss those parties that people throw

    Cons:
    - None that I can think of.......

Re: Would you go to Disneyland (or any other park) on Superbowl Sunday?

No. Not because of any particular love of football (I only care when USC plays), but because Disneyland is PACKED on superbowl sunday.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

    from scottware:
    http://www.scottware.com.au/theme/feature/crowds.htm

    Superbowl - Super Crowd
My family and I were planning a trip to go to Disneyland and wanted to find the least busy day of the year and go. After all my research I discovered that it was Superbowl Sunday. Wrong! We stayed at the Disneyland hotel and it was sold out. The park was not as busy as x-mas but the wait for several rides was well over a 1/2 hour. The walk-ways were very crowed and it was difficult to navigate with a stroller and our two other children (4 and 2). We did this trip in Feb 2005. We are currently planning our next Disneyland trip. We have three children 5, 3 and 1 3/4 years old and we are planning our trip for the second week of January 2006 (when Ca kids go back to school) and will be staying at the Disneyland hotel from Monday thru Friday. Is this a good time to go. Are the crowds small, short lines and as few people as possible. Hours of operation do not concern me, neither does missing some of the shows.- Salvador Severo

    And:
Super Bowl sunday has mixed reports, previous years it has been reported empty though in more recent years has been very very busy. Maybe steer clear if you can.

Blame the internet. And two NFL teams leaving LA at the same time. And Paul and Cynthia.

Don't plan on going to ESPN Zone that day.....Private party every year!
Mom, remember, it's not what a person is like on the outside that counts,
it's what they are like in their HEART!
