Parade of Dreams. Parades are trivial to me. As long as they throw some characters and catchy music in there...it'll work.

my thoughts to. Acually if it was up to me there would be one and one only for those who like them. me, they are crowd gatherers and hard to get thru. but thats just me I am sure. I watched one parade in 3 years I have gone, that was enough.

    Thanks!

I would have to agree that my main objective when I visit the park is not to see the parades. They are a nice touch and if I can see part of one as I am moving from one land to another it is a bonus but not a necessity for me. From what little I have seen they do a good job with the parades and I am sure they will come up with something fun to replace the Parade of Dreams.

I'd like to see a a parade with an actual strong theme again. Not something abstract like Dreams, but... well, like the Mulan Parade. That ruled.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

That sounds interesting. Do you happen to have any photos?

C'mon, that's an easy question. MSEP. Why not bring back the greatest parade in the history of DL? And please before anyone gets their panties in a bunch, they are bringing back the subs and maybe the Peoplemover.

This has been a Filmways presentation dahling.

Now I do remember that parade from a visit when I was really young and remember thinking it was one of the neatest things I had ever seen! A lot of thought and work seemed to go into it and from what I hear it is an all-time favorite of any Disneyland parade consumer.

That works for the night, but not for the daytime, and they'll want something that can span both.

Personally, I don't think POD will go when the 50th is over, I suspect it's going to stick around for at least another two or three years. It's immensly popular, it's still drawing crowds, and it probably cost a fair bit to build and produce.

Whatever it is replaced with will clearly need to at least match POD in terms of float sophistication and sound track, and probably show stops are going to be with us from here on in. Hopefully, it will be just as spectacular.
