I have a feeling that those falls' pumps probably did a good job of sucking crud out of the water.
    Cascade Peak I believe.

    Couple things...

    First: Don't do it.

Second: The water is green for a reason... and you don't want that reason on you.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

    Regarding ROA:

    1) The ducks are still alive.

...Unless they ship in fresh ducks every day to cover the toxic waste conspiracy.

    2) I've been to several performances of Fanstamic, and I'm still here. I think if people started falling over dead after viewing Fanstasmic, the health department might start voicing objections.

    3) I've never noticed any other aroma at Fantasmic than chlorine and of course, hot people.

    4) But let's keep the toxic waste thing going, because it could mean GREAT viewing for Fantasmic in the future. In fact, I think we should each tell 10 guests every time we visit.

(Psst: Hey kid! Didja hear how the water in the Rivers of America completely melted away the hull of the Mark Twain, and if you sit in the right spot during Fantasmic, you'll come out looking like Barbosa in the moonlight?)

Pretty soon, it would just be us Micechatters viewing! BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA........

As far as I know, ROA is chlorinated/filtered.

The DCA lagoon is actually 2 separate bodies of water (notice the wall under the bridge to Paradise Pier).

The Grizzly resevoir is the body of water in front of the Pacifc Wharf area.

Yes, it's happened before. Recently some idiot jumped from the Orange Stinger on a dare. He tried to climb out and escape, but he was pretty beat up from the jump that he was soon apprehended.

Well I guess that answers the question of how deep it is. Not very.

My parents friends jumped into the ROA after their shift ended at DL in the 80ies. It was the day before their wedding.
They didn't get caught but It must of been pretty nasty being in there.

Re: Has Anyone Ever Tried/Jumped into the DCA body of water

OKAY...Quickfix- ROA is filtered, if you have seen pictures of it drained, do you see green mold and dirt on the bottom and sides? NO. The water is filtered and dyed green, Same case with knotts lake when they had their laser/water show, it was about three feet deep but filtered and dyed green. There is no chlorine in ROA, it is just filtered, if it is filtered it will still have the smell, that doesn't mean it's a vile poisen.
