Well, the OFFICIAL opening date for the Blue Bayou is June 26. I mean, to be official about it.

But there's always a possibility for a soft opening!

This is the silliest thread I've ever seen.

Not to me. The Blue Bayou is always a must for a complete Disneyland visit. Maybe to the locals, who have the option to go anytime, it's no big deal. But to us out-of-towners, having the BB closed when we are visiting would be a crushing blow.
As nice as the other parks are, we must always remember that it all began at Disneyland. Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.

    Re: Blue Bayou?

I think you can book it up to 6 months in advance if you call Disney Dining. I was going to book it for my trip in December but have to wait a couple weeks. I called last week to book it for the 26th since we're going for the opening. I was told that they won't be taking reservations since most of Blue Bayou will be reserved for media. (interesting...will they be filming people riding??) They will be taking walk-ins however. But how crazy will that be?? We'll have to wait longer for blue bayou than to ride the updated Pirates i'm sure! I love going though, I go every trip.

That's very weird, every time my girlfriend and I attempted to make reservations a month in advance, the person on the line would tell us that we had to wait until it was within a week.

It's 60 days people! You can make "priority seating arrangements," not reservations, 60 days in advance through disney dining. It eve tells you that ont he recording before you talk to a castmember! I just made mine for BB for July 11

    Re: Blue Bayou?

eh 6 months, 60 days...same thing lol. guess i'll have to wait until october

a little off topic but has anyone gone to Goofy's kitchen and sat on the side WITHOUT the characters?? when i went a year and a half ago it was nice because we saw alice, mary poppins, a lot of my fave characters...but when i went 2 months ago there was pochahontas and the mad hatter only. anyways, i was wondering what it was like on the other side and what the price difference was? it's cool when characters i want to take pics are there but otherwise the $25 a person is a little steep for me.
