Talking Micoofy Duck needs help regarding my 1st trip to Disneyland!

Micoofy Duck needs help regarding my 1st trip to Disneyland! Hello everyone. Was told by a fan of my blog to stop by over here and ask about my 1st trip to Disneyland.

So was curious as to what mice chat forum fans of Disneyland can offer me when it comes to tips.

I have my trip already fully paid so I don't need advice on booking the actual trip but more tips when I'm at the parks. It will be a four day trip, 2 days to each park.

    Everyone have a magical day!

Well, tips depend on what four days you are visiting. When is your trip planned for?

Re: Micoofy Duck needs help regarding my 1st trip to Disneyland!

My basic tip: Ride all low cap rides in the morning when less people are in the park. Peter Pan in FL is a good low cap ride to go on early.

I just took my sister to DL for the first time. We got there at 9 am and was able to do basicly everthing she wanted(except pooh) before 5:30 pm on a friday. The Successful path we took:
    1) Space mountain FP 9:15 am
    2) Matterhorn 9:20 am
    3) Roger 9:40 am
    4) Peter Pan 10:25 am
    5) Toad 10:40 am
    6) Alice 11:00 am
    7) Space using FP from above 11:15 am
(Above took an hour an a half when because we got there at opening.)
    8) Train to NOS 11:20 am
    9) Splash FP 11:40 am
    10) Lunch noon
    11) Splash using FP 12:45 pm
    12) Indy FP 1 pm
    13) Tiki 1:30 pm
    14) Big Thunder 2 pm
    15) Pinocchio 2:20 pm
    16) Snow White 2:30 pm
    17) Indy using FP 2:45 pm
    18) Mansion 3 pm
    19) Tom Island 3:30 pm
    20) Star Tours 4:35 pm
    21) Buzz 5:00 pm
    22) Small World 5:30

at 6 we went into DCA and did Tower and Sorin, We basicly had everything we wanted to ride done and had time to spare. I didnt think I would get this all done before the fireworks/fantasmic... but we did. This was mothers day weekend that I took her. The park est was 43,000 (Dont know if they hit it or not.)

    Our feet hurt after that.

    hope this helps.

July is bad. Always and on every day.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

Great pics and videos on your site. I enjoyed it very much.
As nice as the other parks are, we must always remember that it all began at Disneyland. Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.

Bottom line... Don't try to plan every minute of your day. You will make yourself miserable trying to stay on schedule. Go with the flow and just have fun. See the sights, ride the rides. Go in knowing you will have to deal with crowds and you'll be fine.

I suggest you get a copy of The Unofficial Guide to Disneyland 2006 by Bob Sehlinger and check out the touring plans. (And while DCA is fun, you'll probably spend a lot more time in Disneyland.)

But whatever you do, an early arrival is a must. It's amazing how much you can do in the first couple of hours before the hordes really start to arrive.

If you are there on a Sunday, don't miss the noon MC meet. It might not fit "the plan", but hanging out with MCers, even for a short time, is worth it.
Have bicycle, will ride. Finished 2012 with 10,089 miles, 683 hours, and 482,000 feet of elevation gain.
    2013: 201 rides, 8171 miles, 544 hours, 480K feet.
    2014 so far: 7846 miles, 451,000 feet

You call that hot?!?! Get away from the SoCal beaches and try spending some time in Texas or Arizona. Then you will see what hot is.
