Well it has been an additional 4 weeks since I posted the thread regarding bringing a 6-7 week old to DL! Now it is 4 weeks later and my wife and I are suffering through heavy Disney withdrawals.... The kid is now starting his 11 week of life, he is sleeping through the night, and he is more aware of his surroundings (except he still is a bobble-head)! In conclusion, it is off to DL on June 11!

Pictures to follow for those of you that are new or existing parents. Those of you that hate kids ..........."just keep on swimming...swimming....swimming...."

Have a great time! We took our daughter last year when she was 7 weeks old. She spent almost the entire time sleeping in her snugli, but it will always be a special memory for the rest of us.

go for it! max didnt make it until he was a year old, but belle went at 6 or 7weeks and we had a great time!

I first took my son to DL when he was 5 months old. My DD was 6-7 weeks her first time. On that trip, I went alone with DD and DS (who was just 2 then). Me and two babies! Crazy! But I loved it.

For me, one of the most enjoyable parts of being at DL is looking around and window shopping. When the kids were babies and in a stroller, they slept a lot and I would just push them around while I went sightseeing. I enjoyed those trips. And DH and I could always trade off if there was something I wanted to ride. (He's gone with me a few times.) I had a front baby carrier and took the baby on rides that way, too (rides like IASW and Storybook Boats, etc).

We took our boys to Disneyland when they were infants and my parents took me and my brother when we were infants. I can't imagine leaving them at home.

Hey, the kid's free admission. What's stopping you? 10 miles? You should be there once a week, to brainwash, er, indoctrinate, er, allow the baby those precious moments with Mickey and Friends, and I ain't talkin' 'bout the parking structure.

You waited untill he was 11 weeks? Why so long? I have heard of women who gave birth in the morning and by noon they were at Disneyland having their pics taken with Mickey!
