I heard that it was opening on 6/10 and since we plan to visit then, we have been calling to try to make PS. Up until yesterday, disney dining just kept telling me that it wasn't in their system yet to make PS but we could still go as walk-ins starting on 6/10. Yesterday, I again checked to see if we could make PS and this was the response I received via email from Disney Dining
"Here's the official information from Management. Café Orleans' soft opening (walk ins only) will be June 19-24th. So unfortunately, they will not be opening on the 10th, the castmembers will be training June 5th through June 9th for the cast member preview June 13th-16th."
So we are bummed as we leave DL on June 18th and it looks as though we will miss it altogether! Anyone have any "inside" info to give us some hope of getting in?
Cafe Orleans is SUPPOSED to be opening on June 10, but at this point it seems a little unlikely, because I'm cross-training for waithelp on June 15-17? Won't they need people trained BEFORE the location opens?
The menu tastes superb, even though I've only had three items off of it.
I must say that I'm already DYING to try a full portion of the seafood crepe.
