Does anyone have any ideas or guesses as to how busy the park will be today or tommorrow by chance? Im thinking of heading up there in a couple hours.

Heard it wasn't bad on Saturday or Sunday just past, so during the week should be low crowds....no guarantees though. I'm going on Wednesday afternoon just for that reason, before school let's out in this area.

It should be just fine. Sunday seemed so light to me--my husband decided that, like rain, heat also keeps people away in droves.

I'll be there later tonight and on wednesday night as well if anyone wants to meet up. The crowds were light this past weekend when I was there, so here's hoping! ^_^

Good to at least hear it should be kinda quiet. My mom is taking her godfather for his birthday. He hasn't been in over 20 years, so we are excited to take him.

It defintely wasn't bad this weekend. It was HOT but the crowds were way light, we kept commenting on how great it was.

it depends on how you see the park as "busy" I was there last friday and sun and it was pretty crowded but not packed. If you want DCA-like type of busy crowd you wont ever find that at DL till summer is over. Lines were not extremely long but enough to drive the little ones crazy. It will look like a staurday all through out summer and sundays are usually the busiest. Wed. and Thurs are not that bad...

The crowds were quite manageable last weekend and this week should be similar. Splash had the longest line because it was so hot, but I went in the single rider line and only waited a few minutes. This might be the last weekend of manageable crowds until the end of summer.

I was there last Thursday/Friday and the crowds were definitely bearable. A Monday should be fine this week.

I think you'll be quite happy. I was there this weekend and just got back. Like the OPs above, I was very surprised at the crowd levels. This was the first Sunday in months that I didn't feel the need to go back to the hotel for a crowd break. A 20 minute standby for space at 11:00 am, you can't beat that for a Sunday. Today was also very lite. Have fun!

Ok, just got back from the park and I don't know if it was just the post-DCA closing rush or something, but the crowds in DL were craptastic. The Indy fastpass I got was for 2 hours later (Usually the Indy fastpasses are only for 30-45 minutes later on a calm day). I waited in line for half an hour on Space Mountain before it broke down and then decided to just shop and go home. Blah... at least I got excercise. >_<

This weekend wasn't too bad, warm but not crowded. With the cooler weather coming back the rest of the week should be great.
