there are projections onto the castle as well as projections onto "it's a small world"
im not sure about tom sawyer's island tho, i have never watched the fireworks from over there.
Tom Sayer's Island doesn't have projections, it is also hard to see the fireworks from there. I beleive that they have one thing happen over there, I'll find out on Monday.

where do they come from? Well, if you walk in front of the castle you will see these stone pillars with statues of creatures on them. They look temporary and the projectors are hidden inside.
Oh, and don't forget the matterhorn! There's projections on the fabled peak also!
