Re: Board Game Idea - Disneyland Risk

DL Risk sounds like a great Idea. I may try to design a board version.

Has anyone done a DL Monopoly?

(For those of you who don't know what "Risk" is, it's a map game of global domination in which you invade territories/countries, battle their armies and take over.)

For this idea, the board is simple - a map of Disneyland, with territories being attractions and the countries being the lands.

Players can select from 6 competing armies in which to dominate the park: stroller-driving parents, pin traders, annual passholders, day guests, teenagers, and message board geeks.

    What do you all think?
i think this would be a great idea.. they have made risk with other themes

submit it to disney I would

What if there's someone who fits into more than one of those categories? O.o

I would like some new rules though. Like every so many turns you draw an event card. This could be an attraction breakdown, Fantasmic, parade, etc...And each event would have either positive or negative affects for those owning the land.

This sounds great DP! I've never played Risk because it always looked too boyish & complicated, but this is something I could get into!!

I love Risk, and I love Disneyland. My love for Disneyland Risk would rival the love I have for my girlfriend (Oh please God don't let her read this). I'd feel a little odd invading Disneyland, but I think I can get over that.

I loved playing the original RISK as well the game, "Diplomacy" which is like a another version of RISK. A Disneyland version would be great!

Edited to add: I can remember some late night games that never seemed to end. It was always fun! Geez, I'M dating myself
