    Vintage 1967 Disneyland Guide

In my mom's collection she had her 1967 Disneyland guide! This is from one of her first visits to Disneyland! I spent most of the scanning the book so I could share it with you!

    Enjoy!!!

WOW, I was going to post a question about a restaurant, and what do you know, the answer is right there in that guide

Hills Bros. Coffee house and garden, my mom and I were just talking about it yesterday...huh, funny coincidence....

    Thanks

I remember those guides--I used to spend hours reading it over and over again after our once-a-year trip to Disneyland. The section with the ride descriptions was my favorite part. Thanks for posting that.

Another thread with more great memories..I've shared elsewhere how important 1967 was to me in my lifetime of Disneyland experience. Just check out the food prices, especially at the Blue Bayou. And your "BankAmericard" (which became VISA about a decade later) is always welcome!

Thanks Melissa, for sharing. I have quite a few previous year guidebooks. Very cool to see another out there.

Thanks! Very cool. My parents have some old Disney memorabilia that I should look through someday. Hmmm....

    Impressive!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

That was cool! Thanks for sharing! I think I remember the guides being somewhat similar in the late 70's when I first remember these sorts of things. I wish I still had one, that and some of the ticket books with all the leftover A tickets that we never used that would sit in our junk drawer for years.

I loved seeing the Matterhorn Mountain in Tomorrowland with the buckets going right through the middle. I miss those things. I was just a kid when they were taken out.
