My favorite place is the Winery, sit outside on the patio, have some dinner and if you time it right, you can sit and just watch the parades go by. Make reservations early if you want to eat.

In Disneyland, the little stretch of walkway by the Rivers of America, from the Golden Horseshoe to the Pirates of the Caribbean (in front of the petrified tree and towards New Orleans Square), is, for some reason, just pure heaven.

In California Adventure, the area from the back of Grizzly Rapids where there's a waterfall, continuing towards the Vineyard Room, is just wonderful.

Both places put a smile on my face every time.

I love the old Light Magic viewing terrace in the afternoon. A great place to people watch. Another place is the balcony above the Royal Street Veranda, in the action but quietly removed.
Disneyland on whole is a relaxing place for me anyway

Waaay in the back of Critter Country. To the right of the Pooh store. Btween the pooh ride and that store in Critter Country. There are a few benches back there. It's a small corner with no through trails. So, very little traffic.

Heh, you guys aren't alone in sleeping in the Opera House. I see people passed out on our padded benches all the time, especially later in the day. And one time, after a show, there was a guy sound asleep in the front row that I couldn't wake up. I even checked his pulse, he was that far out. It took several minutes to wake him up and get him out. So yeah, as long as you wake up before the end of the show, we don't really mind.

dca - animation building, a given. i also like to hang outside of the animation building, on one of the park benches and just watch the crowds. people watching relaxes me a ton

at dl - i like to sit by the toontown train station, on those benches over there. to hear the train go by, to hear the small world clock chime; it puts me in a state of zen like quality.

This is where DD and I go to eat our Pooh Corner candy. There's a nice little stream coming down the hill. The only thing is that the Pooh ride exit is right there and the music will drive me crazy after about 15 min.

The courtyard at the Disney Gallery. You can really get away from everything there.

I love TSI too, but I also always have enjoyed sitting on those chairs in the former (correct me if I'm wrong) Wizard of Bras shop on Main Street.
Hey, anyone have a picture of the Wizard of Bras when it was open? I don't think I've ever seen a shot of it before! Anyway, nice place to sit and take a breather!

The waterfalls are still at the Disneyland Hotel?

The Grand Californian lobby is supreme. The Courtyard in NOS is pretty nice too.

Oh yeah also in frontierland where the fantasyland trail meets the ROA. That's pretty nice, and often not too crowded.
