Just wanted to go ahead and post a review of the new Remember...it is simply fantastic. Of course, if you don't want to know about the show, don't read.

Spoiler

It starts with the opening from Wishes, but where Jiminy speaks, Julie Andrews now talks and the background music has been redone--same Wishes theme but different music, which sounds really nice. Then, we move back to the Wishes music with the little girls singing "Starlight, star bright, first star I see tonight, I wish I may, I wish I might, have the wish I wish tonight. We'll make a wish and do as dreamers do and all our wishes will come true." Then there is the "When You Wish Upon a Star" segment from Wishes followed by Julie Andrews again and then wishes from Cinderella, Snow White, Ariel, Peter Pan, Pinocchio, and finally Aladdin.

At this point, 3½ minutes into the show, we switch to the new audio with Julie Andrews followed by Walt's opening day speech. Thus begins the E-Ticket in the Sky portion with the Disneyland Railroad, one of the songs played on main street, and the MSEP.

Then it's off to Adventureland for the Tiki Room and a nice orchestration of the Indiana Jones Adventure.

We then proceed over to New Orleans Square for a show-stopping, incredible orchestration of the Haunted Mansion that will simply be jaw-dropping...I am so pleased they decided to redo the music with a full orchestra, as it's amazing. Following "hurry baaaacckkk, hurry baacckkkk..." we head around the Square for a second show-stopping segment from Pirates, which will wow everyone.

Now we hear the Wishes theme song replay as a transition into the beautiful Shenandoah segment--once again, a stunning, new orchestration that leads right into Big Thunder Mountain and we then loop around Rivers of America to Splash Mountain where we look for our laughing place before flying over to Fantasyland for Peter Pan's Flight, Alice in Wonderland and Pinocchio's Daring Journey (I'm sure there is more from Fantasyland, it's a jammed section).

We then begin an Adventure through Innerspace with "MAGNIFICATION" before boarding the Endor Express for the first finale of the show.

As the E-Tickets in the Sky close, we return to the Wishes soundtrack w/ Julie Andrews narrating before the finale, taken directly from Wishes. This is the last 2 minutes of the show (a nice, long, 2nd finale). The finale is really intense...you probably won't take a breath at all during the last 30 seconds. The show closes with a poignant reminder from Julie Andrews to "Remember...Dreams Come True."

After this, "Remember When", recorded by LeAnn Rimes, is played park-wide.

FANTASTIC show.

The Tink segments are awesome, though I'm sure it will be even more impressive come May 5th now that they have all of the new lighting set up. It will also be nice to see the Castle changing color every 15-20 seconds at night...very pretty.

negative on the pics, but I have come into possession (through clandestined means, to be sure) of the first in-park audio recording of the show, though it is certainly not something that should be posted for public use...

IMO the tinkerbell 'experience' redefines the term 'magical moment' and raises the bar even at Disneyland. I found myself choking back tears as the magic of the disney imagineers (with the help of a fantastic new pully system) really brought tinkerbell's famous flight over Sleeping Beauty castle to life. Adults and kids alike will surely know the magic and the wonder that is something only Walt Disney could have imagined. The Haunted Mansion segment (complete with 'stretch room effect') is my absolute favorite part in the show and is nothing short of jaw dropping, especially accompanied by the orchestral score. I CAN NOT WAIT to see the guest reaction to this show.

I'd like to add to this thread too --
Here are a couple more details:

Some attractions not described in the laughin' place segment (but that ARE represented in Remember...) are: Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, the Mad Tea Party, and Casey Junior (they play the "All Aboard, Let's Go!" sound byte from the ride...it put a mile-wide smile on my face too ).

There are a TON of fireworks that launch from the roof of the emporium and magic shops during key points during the show. Even people as far down main street will REALLY feel like they're in the middle of the show.

The FIRE effects: remember the particle fountains behind the castle in the old shows? Think HUGE flamethrowers about half as high. ...about 6 of them (3 on each side of the castle). It's a BIG SUPRISE and looks GREAT. If you're at the hub, you can FEEL the heat. The only effect I've ever seen that even comes close to this is the "hell barge" in Illuminations at Epcot.

Scanner Laser: during the tomorrowland sequence, the new laser shoots out from teh castle. It's a very cool effect and changes as the audio changes. Example: when the submarine audio plays, the laser turns into a wave shape and makes it look like you're under water!! Also, during the startours battle music, the laser shoots buildings and other targets in the hub that subsequently "explode" with a firework shell a moment after they're shot. VERY, VERY COOL EFFECT!

HUGE PARTICLE PINWHEELS during the laughing place segment finale: The old tink towers (black poles on either side of the castle) have been fitted with GIGANTIC pyro pinwheels (like the kind on the marktwain during the Fantasmic! finale...only 10x the size) are UNBELIEVABLE. When they went off, my jaw dropped to the floor (I KID YOU NOT)! Even thinking about it makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up!!!

They looked great!!

I wish I was there. Thanks for the video. I have to say that at times it looked like the smoke was blocking good views of later fireworks. I suppose that is what the testing is for!
