Grand Californian Resort AND SPA ???

Is it just me or did the name used to be just the "Grand Californian"? Since when do they have a spa?

Yes they now have a spa, and I hear tell its awsome. this motel is very nice and the resturants inside it are wonderful! in fact most of the favorites are inside this massive place. this motel is huge. and as close as you can get to the monorail and getting into the parks in fact you can go directly into the park thru the grand californian. its huge, and very fancy

They've expanded the fitness center and now have a Mandera Spa there. I haven't heard any reviews yet though.

Re: Grand Californian Resort AND SPA ???

Yes, it used to be just "Disney's Grand Californian Hotel," it's just recently they added the "and Spa," because the Mandara Spa was just renovated. It's an awesome experience... They give you a tea ceremony and you can book all kinds of things, even a side by side romantic massage. And you don't get to keep the robes, but you can buy them for about 60-75 dollars. And if you happen to "pack" one of them, they charge it to your room.

No, unfortunately you can't keep the robes but you can buy them in the Acorn gift shop for $75.
