"Remember, Dreams Come True" can be heard on the Musical History of Disneyland 6 cd set. It's on the Tomorrowland disc (yeah, they didn't organize those cd's very well). Not sure about the 'Parade of Dreams' music though.

Good proposal location. Several people here on MC have proposed or been proposed to in a Disney park. While I know where would be best if I chose to do this, it is probably different than someone elses choice. It's probably best if the location has some significance to the two of you, maybe some out of the way corner of the park you've sat together and people watched before. I'm a fan of the Court of Angels (artist) but snow white's well and the fountain outside HM is also nice (whats that place called, it has a name). It's all about making the memory best for you. You're a 'Fantasmic! Fanatic!' so maybe try to get balcony seats for the show and do it up there after the show is over, or before it starts.... Disneyland is all about making dreams come true and making memories. Think whats best for the two of you and the location will fall into place.

The fountain near Haunted Mansion is called the Spanish Fountain.

Maybe a good proposal location would be Snow Whites Grotto. After all the song played in that area, if I remember correctly, is "I'm Wishing". What a perfect song to fit the atmosphere for a proposal.

    Im Wishing
    (Snow White)
It`s so sad and lonely, wishing well ,
longing for someone you never see,
Make him love me only, wishing well,
won`t you grant this a favour to me?

I`m wishing for the one I love
    to find me today.
I`m hoping, and I`m dreaming of
    the nice things, he`ll say.

    Tell me, wishing well,
    will my wish come true?
    With your magic spell,
won`t you tell my loved one what to do?

    (The Prince)
I`m wishing for the one I love
    to find me today.
I`m wishing for the one I love
    to find me today.
I`m hoping, and I`m dreaming of
    the nice things, she`ll say.

    Tell me, wishing well,
    will my wish come true?
    With your magic spell,
won`t you my loved one what to do?

I`m wishing for the one I love
    to find me today.
    Good luck .

While this is a fun topic, in May, somebody else asked the same question about where to propose. It may have some ideas for you.

You can always ask a CM to help you out. I've heard stories of getting front-row seats to see the fieworks (i.e. right infront of the castle) and being in-cahootz with with CM, where they know what you're doing and they have a camera ready to snap pictures and can stop traffic or whatever, and you can pop the question right before the fireworks start. Personally, I think anywhere around the castle is beautiful, especially those little white bridges near the Carnation stage.

Well thank all of you so much for the input.. I do think I'm going to go with the fireworks idea... and incorpirate 'dreams' and wishes' into my proposal to go with thetheming of the fireworks... i get all teary-eyed and the chills when I think of it.... It will also be my 20th b-day that day I ask him so it will be doubly special.....

I think it's great that you're going to ask *him* to marry you! I love it.

Good luck on the engagement! It sounds lovely!

I wish my fiance would have proposed at DL, but he is not nearly the fan that I am!

You have just as much right to ask your boyfriend to marry you as anyone else has the right to ask theirs. Go for it, if it makes anyone uncomfortable they can walk away, but I would get teary eyed and sentimental for you if I saw it. May I please congratulate you in advance on your engagement.

This is great advice!!! I do this every time I visit DLR! I tell the CM I want to propose to my pal, and they give me sweet seats. After the show I bend down to tie my shoe and ask my pal if she wants to ride IASW again. She looks upset and says "No!". Then I fake a sad face and shake my head. The CMs always feel sad for me, thinking I just got dissed on my proposal attempt.

    High 5!
