Main Street change complete -- Baby Care Center and Lost Children

The consolidation of two of the most useful services on Main Street, the Lost Children Center, and the Baby Care Center, are now complete. Tuesday, the small rocking chairs were being moved and removed, and last night, the giant Lego table and some chairs were in its place.

Like DCA, both lost children and baby care services are going to be consolidated in this one location.

The cast members I interviewed last night told me that this makes the center much busier. The park was relatively busy this week anyway, but the cast members told me they had a lot of lost children since the change, which makes it harder for them to attend to changing paper, selling formula and food, and resolving problems in the center with parents who need help.

How on earth will it be quiet for babies with all the lost kidlets running around? I guess the day just got more hectic for mothers of infants.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...

It's the crying kids that get me. One kid was playing with legos last night, and another one was just sitting on a couch and crying ... made ME sad, and I'm a heartless cruel litigator!

I remember how restful the Baby Care Center was when I used it 24 years ago. Not anymore.

We used the Baby Care Center last Sunday and it was great. The mornig was crowded and I joked with the CMs that they should put one of the removed FastPass machines outside their doorway. She said, "You make jokes but wait until Thanksgiving and Xmas weekends. People will be standing in lines to enter the faciliites!"

By 7:00pm the Baby Care Center was all ours. Not a soul in sight! It was nice because I could sleep while my kid slept!
