Is the Pooh ride better than the country bears?

OK after seeing someone post up pictures of the Country Bears it just makes me miss the Country Bears even more. I think they should rename the Pooh ride; "Pooh's Acid Trip". The way I see it Disneyland will probally never bring back the Country Bears but man I wish they would.

To put it simply ... NO WAY!!!

The Country Bears is one of the attractions I am most looking forward to at WDW ... that and TTA.

The Pooh ride is horrible, I wish they'd bring the Country Bears back. That was one of my favorite places to go as a kid.

Pooh would be the first attraction I would vote off the island. It blows huge monkey chunks.

Of course not. I don't hate the Pooh ride as much as most people, but obviously the Country Bears, being animatronic, was a much more sophisticated and interesting attraction. But to be honest, I was getting kind of sick of the show and apparently a lot of other people were too, because the theater was often half empty when we would go see it.

Re: Is the Pooh ride better than the country bears?

I do not think I would dislike pooh as much as I do if it was built in a new building. I really do like the idea of having a Winnie the Pooh and friends attraction in Disneyland.
Keeping the Country Bears, my thought would have been to bring back the original Country Bear Jamboree Show to re-new the nostalgic interest, while preparing an all new show to debut at a later time, since that is all it really needed. The old Vacation show was worn out.

Since the Bears went away (or were done in by that stupid yellow bear) I don't set foot in Critter Country anymore.

To quote Whitney Houston. "Hell to the NO!"

I've never been a fan of Winnie the Pooh...he's just too damn popular. And taking away the Country Bears made me hate the damn bear. The only reason why I go on that ride ever is to see the tiny bit that remains of the Country Bears.

I agree, everytime I see the Pooh character around or at his meet and greet, I just say a snide remark or tell my girlfriend to take the backpack cuz I was gonna but a whoopin on him. Blasted security.

Pooh is an ok ride especially with little kiddies, but to take away country bears for Pooh was poor use of valuable DL property. Someone remarked about how empty Country Bears was in its last few year of existance have you seen the Pooh line?????????????
The Country Bears Holiday makeover was also one of my favorites!
