Oh Darkbeer, how was the Fast and Furious thing at Universal - I saw it on FOx 11 news last night and it looked really cool...did you like it?

Yes, both Lisa and I liked it. Remember what it replaced, the non-working Dante's Peak miniature, which wasn't that good when it worked.

It is a good two minute experience, we preferred the second half, when the cars dance to the music. We think it is a good addition to the tour. It isn't as good as Earthquake, Jaws, or King Kong, but better than the Mummy tunnel.

From a mostly lurker, I want to say thanks to DarkBeer for his always awesome photo galleries. Although my family and I live in Las Vegas, and have annual passes, your photos (as well as many other Micechatters), get me through the blackout days when we can't go!

Thanks also to DB for the 1-15 construction info, I always try to listen to the highway Stations en route, but if I know of this ahead of time, I hope to avoid these nightmare!

By a happy accident, we planned our next trip to DL on Monday July 26th, and we are very excited to be there on the first day POTC re-opens! I'll try to look for people to say hi!

I will be driving in from Vegas this coming up weekend also. I actually just got back from Cali today. I have spent every weekend this past month at Disney. I am kinda getting sick of that drive but man o man do I love disney. I got some pics this weekend also but nothing clost to those. I can't wait to get there on Friday night and see everything before all the stars get in. Say "ARRR" if your getting Pirates fever. ARRR

Thanks also to others on the boards I found out that the Blue Bayou started taking reservations, so the family will be there about 3:30 if memory serves. I'll be sure to post a review!

Thank you for your pictures DB. I planned to take some while I was there Sunday but left my camera at home as I was slightly hung over from a friend's 30th birthday party the night/morning previous. All my gawking at the set up and peering in through the open door made me realize that I am SO BUMMED that there is pretty much no way I can get in to this premeire! It's shaping up to be quite the experience.
