DLR Shorter hours after the week of the 4th I just read about this on mouse info so I checked on the Disneyland Resort site and it appears to be true. Mondays through Thursdays for the rest of the summer after the week of the 4th, Disneyland will close at 11 PM instead of the traditional midnight? Anyone know what's up with this?
To give us closing cast members a break for a change?

Hmmm...that's interesting. Maybe they're thinking people may think the 18-month celebrations are going on too long?

It is a sign of one of two things. Attendance is down or not enough staff. I think it is the latter.

Originally, the Disneyland Resort had posted the park hours for Disneyland as closing at Midnight every night thru mid-August, it now is closing at 11 PM Sunday thru Thursday.
DCA was scheduled to stay open until 10 PM nightly, it is now closing at 9 PM Sunday thru Thursday.

Why....
Well, my guess is the fact that Disney is trying once again to maximize profits, and labor costs are high. One thing Disney can do is add an hour if the crowds are large enough. On the other hand, it is very difficult to close earlier than posted.
Weird thing, Disney keeps claiming attendance is up around 10%, maybe summer hotel bookings are not meeting expectations......

I think it's an error...
Hotels are showing more bookings (like breaking records) since September 11th, so that's not it!
