Several posters in different threads admit they were longtime S. California residents who never went to the park as children because their families couldnít afford it. For others it was a very special occasion, maybe once every few years or when relatives came for a visit. For the majority who live out of state, it is more likely a once or twice in a lifetime trip.
The AP has changed the whole concept of local guests for the Disney Company and what they expect or demand from the park when they do visit. Many of you are now Disneyland regulars, people who might visit the park several times a week.
Iím wondering if any of you feel that youíve had too much of a good thing in recent years. Several have mentioned being totally burned out on certain attractions or never visiting other areas of the park. Others have instead become obsessed with maintenance issues or entertainment.
Like too much candy, TV or any other overindulgence, has DL somewhat lost its luster for you and in what ways have you changed your attitude about it.
As my personal feelings about the park change, I still find it to be a very nice and wonderful place to go but I limit myself to a trip every few years now.
