It started when the "Pay for Disneyland, get DCA for FREE!" ended, so it has been offered for about 2 months already.....

It's summer time. Crowds might be expected to get bigger, without the help of discount one-day parkhoppers.
I still think it's a bad deal. I go all that way to DL (70+ miles), and no way am I going to pay to spend time away from DL.

Puts it right in line with the whopping $5 disney CM discount on tickets :P Disney's all about the discount.
Re: Disneyland has reduced the SoCal One Day ParkHopper discount to $5
Man, $74 is still kinda expensive for a 1-Day Park Hopper. My premium annual pass is $329. It begins to look really good when you think that I get 10-15 days per year out of it, 10% discounts on all merchandise, and 15% discounts on all food.
APs are the way to go!

I find it interesting that they will give discounts for Mexican citizens but will not give discounts to residents of Arizona. People in Phoenix live about as close as people in Baja California. Oh, well. Disney discounts are few and far between anyway.
