Best Crown on Sleeping Beauty Castle....

Yes, yet another poll from me! I was just wondering if anyone has a favorite crown on Sleeping Beauty Castle?

Sadly, my next trip to DL is in November and by that time the decorations will already have been taken down. However, during my 4 trips to DL during the 50th, I took so many pictures of the castle because it was just so gorgeous.

Personally, I think the Indy crown is the most interesting, but they are all pretty so I'm not sure if I could even pick a favorite...

I LOVE how they do the Eye of Mara on that crown. It's by far my favorite. I wish they made a real one you could wear.

Actually, I bet they'd make bank if those crowns were made as souvenirs like mickey ears.

I voted for the Indy crown as well. It looks quite beautiful and is a real eye-catcher, IMO. I also feel that you can physically see what it represents better than any of the others, but that's just my opinion.

No, you can post pics (including those in your signature) without being a Gold member. I swear, I'm either stupid, or I'm glad to learn so much every day on this site. I didn't even KNOW there were different crowns on the castle! Let alone notice that they represented different attractions:

The Tinkerbell Crown is beautifully detailed and
simply more charming than the eye of mara/snake
crown. Tink was truly Disneyland's 1st ambassador
as she welcomed so many to the Disneyland tv show.
And then for so many years we could see her fireworks
magic in person, over the land Walt created with his
imagination.

My 2nd favorite crown is the Mouse Ears. Walt wanted
us to remember, it all started with a mouse. The Mickey
Mouse Club was introduced to us on July 17th, 1955,
And established itself as an American icon. But most
important, Mickey gave DL it's heart.

The eye of mara and the surrounding snakes are beautifully
represented in my 3rd favorite crown. It represents a
spirit of Adventure and exploration, which represents and
symblises all of DL, not just Adventureland.

The Blue Fairy/Star Crown is beautiful as well. Lighting and
leading the MSEP for so many years, reminds us that when
you wish upon a star, your dreams come true. Disneyland
is the place where that kind of magic really happens.

My least favorite crown rates well below the 1st four.
The rocket crown is void of charm and the most barren
of all the crowns. It may purport to represent the new
Tomorrowland of 1965 to 1975, but it also represents
that same land that was barren from 1995 to 2005.
here's hoping that there's a great big beautiful tomorrow
for that land, sometime in the future.
