The Stroller and Wheelchair Rentals have been moved to the Main Entry Plaza area

Once again, Disney has closed the rental area inside the gates at Disneyland and DCA, and has placed large white tents in the North-East corner next to the Kennels in the Main Entry Plaza inside of the security area.

This allows for more registers and smoother processing.

So if you need to pick one (or more) up, make sure and do it before entering the park.

You are allowed to take the strollers and wheelchairs to both parks, and inside the security area in the Main Entry Plaza.

Hmm... it will be interesting to see what effect this has on the entry gates, but overall I think it's a GREAT idea. It'll also cut down on crowding just inside the entry gates, allowing clearer views for photos and easier passage into the parks.

Good move Disneyland!

This is great and just in time for the summer crowds. Excellent!

Why don't they just set this up outside the gates permanently? Every time the park(s) get busy, they do this. It would just seem more efficient to make this a permanent rental area.

There are rumors that Disney wants to do this, but then they have to get a building permit (ever wonder why they prefer to replace an attraction in an old building, it is a LOT easier than getting permission to build a new structure), the local goverment(s) want concessions for permission to build, such as new traffic lights, roads and other things paid for by the company appling for the permit.

Another issue, if they redo the North-East corner, what to do with the Disneyland Kennel.

Here is hoping Disney finds a way to solve the issues, and just build a new structure to rent the Strollers, Wheelchairs, and maybe even a new AP processing center outside the turnstiles.

Ahhhh, the old building permit tangled web...makes sense now why they just keep moving it temporarily :rolleyes:

Can't they extend the kennel building.... it's extension on an existing building rather than new independent building... Or does that require input as well...
