    Blue Bayou - What is the dessert "booty"

    I've read lots of reviews on the new Blue Bayou, (thank you everyone!), but what I have yet to see any review of, is the "booty", that is given with a purchase of dessert.

    Anyone out there received the "booty" yet? MelMel said the "booty" was good, but didn't describe what it was. Anyone?

    With all this "booty" talk, this thread is going to go down fast... Thanks!

    I received a treasure chest made of sugar with my Creme Brulee Trio. I was warned that I may not want to eat it though as it is extremely hard.

    Yes, you are really inviting the strange comments with this thread. I found the following picture on another board...

    Thank you potcfan for the description, and thanks Frogberto for the photo!

    What an interesting item... not what I would have thought it would be...I was expecting something not made of sugar...

    The pirate coin may be edible, but you probably have to have teeth of steel. I got it with a dessert in the French Market and can't seem to put a dent in it. >_<;;;

    The flying dutchman dessert comes with a removable sail made of sugar and embossed with a Jooly Roger-type POTC design.

    Also, Master Gracey's photo from his last photo update shows it on the plate:

    I can confirm the booty is tasty. I haven't tried it at either restaurant, however.

    Well, I need to edit my sig to say..." I ate my sail!"

    I had the Flying Dutchman dessert..(OMG!!! It's sooo good) and when the waitress (Nancy - most UMBELIVABLE waitress in the Universe. She is GREAT!!) Told our group that the sails and coins where made out of sugar.. well, I just bit into mine. Hard as a rock, sorta no real taste at all...and now doomed to a lifetime of unmerciful teasing by my friends...

    So, while everyone else kept their "booty," mine has a huge bite mark out of it.. Oh well..

    Between the food and the desserts..we now call the BB, "The Gorge and Waddle" cause that is exactly what we did...

    (I had heard other MC'ers talk about how wonderful Nancy was on the boards...I agree..we will always ask for her now. And let her know you are with MC. Sweetest person in the Universe..and will spoil you rotten!)

    Give me a big old piece of chocolate cake anyday! It's hard to tell which part of this new dessert is edible and which isn't. Sure is pretty, though.
