    The round skyway buckets were replaced by the square models in 1965, as mentioned.

    Those last few pics are great as well. Really interesting to see the park back in the day and every new picture posted paints more of that picture.
    Warning: Portions of this attraction are intense and may not be appropriate for younger children.

    Thanks for sharing, they are great pics. Looking at the Skyway coming thru the Matterhorn, you can see all the seams, looks like the mountain is cracking. Wouldn't that add a nice touch. Peaceful ride on the skyway, spiel is going on in the background, suddenly... Oh, oh, look out folks looks like we've got an avalanche, the mountainside is breaking apart... look out!

    I was conceived on the Adventure thru Inner Space under that big staring eye, so this photo essay was especially meaningful to me. Thanks.
