What SHOULD be the theme for Disneyland for next year?

As most know, Disney has declared next year (Starting in October 2006!) a Year of a Million Dreams. Now that communicated to me that Disney marketing could not find one good idea among all those dreams.

Now if you were to create an advertising campaign for Disneyland, what would it be? (You don't have to try to encompass all Disney parks worldwide!)

We know that the Nemo adventure is coming... DCA is supposed to get Midway Madness (Another name that sounds like a nightmare! IMHO!) ToT is supposed to get a ride randomization at some point...

So with all this happening, what would the theme be?

How about the "Year of a Thousand Marketing Tie-Ins"?

I think it has a nice ring to it.

I like the simplicity of just "Disneyland." Take a year's break from the themed craziness and just promote the hell out of the openings of these attractions when they open or change. Every year doesn't necessarily need some special hyped theme for 18 months (the Disney calendar year). Don't let the marketing folks know that I said that.
Warning: Portions of this attraction are intense and may not be appropriate for younger children.

I agree. The 50th was such a great celebration that I don't see anyting else being able to top it. 2007 theme - "A Year of No Excessive Promotions."

SERIOUSLY, go to any mall in OC, it seems like there's at least one big ad just for that issue.

At the Block of Orange, I saw one in the front side facing Krispy Kreme, then I saw another near Dave and Buster's, and then a third near Ron Jon shop, it was like I couldn't get away from it.

Are they doing this at all the malls? I know I went to the Santa Ana mall and saw them there too.

But to stay on topic, I agree.

    Bye.

Re: What SHOULD be the theme for Disneyland for next year?

    being serious

I'm good for no big promo

After all, don't they have the new Halloween decor and Fireworks

    Plus we have HMH overlay
    and Christmas
    Plus iaswH

and then the new things next summer
    Isn't that enough?
    Why add more?
