Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
I think WDI should think about opening up a real barbershoop on Main Street like in WDW! What a perfect E-Ticket thing to do....relax and have a haircut! I would be one of the first in line for this attraction! Unfortunately you may find a Fastpass machine infront for appointment times!
Anyone else? Sorry ladies....no hairstylists to be found! Would not match the old time Main Street theme! They want to be called barbers.....not hairstylists...........

I wonder how much actual business there would be. Can you imagine paying to get into Disneyland, then wanting to kill time waiting for a hair cut (which you'll pay a bit more for inside the park than out)? Nah, I wouldn't think it's an idea waiting to happen.
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
Then again, playing on the whole AP thing, they could pull it off as long as they weren't too terribly marked up!
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
Given how many AP's are out there, I think that a Barbershop on Main Street would be great. I always thought it was strange that WDW had one but DL didn't. If it can make some money in Florida, it certainly seems like AP's would keep it plenty busy.

How exactly is getting your hair cut an E-ticket?

If it was an AA cutting your hair then I'd be impressed! I wouldn't get mine cut, but I know I'd waste a lot of time watching someone else!
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
As long as they trim my handlebar mustache ;)
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
This would be interesting!
I'd say to my mom, Can i get a hair cut. And we'd go to disneyland. ;)
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
Sure, why not... but do it truly disney-to-the-max-style. Provide hairdo's like each princess, pirate dreads, mickey mouse fro's, donald duck cowlick feathers. I can just see it now
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
In the late 80's there was a barber shop behind Main St for the CM's. But when I returned in the mid 90's, (about 3-4 years later) it was gone. No, never had my hair cut there.
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
I don't know about it being an E-ticket :D but my boys thought it was "soooo cool" to get their haircut on Main Street in WDW. In fact, they are wanting to get their "back to school" hair cuts when we go back to WDW in August.
It was really cute when we got their cuts, there was a baby in there getting his first hair cut and he got baby's first haircut ears and everything. My boys got spikey cuts with colorful hair gel, one was blue the other purple with a sprinkling of Mickey head confetti. I think the cuts were in the $10 range and the barbershop was packed everytime we were there except the last day!
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
I always visit the Barbershop at least once on my trips to Magic Kingdom. I will probably get a little trim when I am there in less than 2 weeks. The colored hair gel is fun.

I used to get my hair cut there. It was called Cast Cutters. The barbers name was Gary Dye (Don't ask me how I remember that, it was over 10 years ago).
It was over by Space Mountain.
Re: Main Street Barbarshop at Disneyland
sounds like a neat idea, epecially if done right,
a true old school barber shop is always in demand. man i would love for there one to be near me, all the classic proper ones get pushed out of buisness by rent rates.
