Peter Pan but Casey Jr. is SO close on its tail! I love me some teacups too!

No words, My tears won't make any room for more,
And it don't hurt, like anything I've ever felt before, this is
No broken heart,
No familiar scars,
This territory goes uncharted...
I "excused" the Matterhorn as said above because it is the only true E ticket in FL. I believe the others represent a good group for comparison.
I voted for PP but it was very close between that, Toad and Alice. All three of those are "must" rides though the line for PP is a big draw back. The one thing I dislike about the great fireworks is that these are closed early. Late evening is a great time to visit these after the little ones (others - I don't have any anymore!) have gone back to the hotel!

Favorite Rides (in order):
Dumbo/Casey Jr.
Matterhorn Bobsleds
"It's A Small World"
Mr Toad's Wild Ride
Alice In Wonderland/Mad Tea Party
Peter Pan's Flight
King Arthur Carrousel (LOVE the music and atmosphere it provides!)
Storybook Land Canal Boats
Pinocchio's Daring Journey
Snow White's Scary Adventure
They are ALL my favorites really, it's just that it ranges from "OMG I have to go on that!" to "I'd like to ride that before the day's over".
i voted for matterhorn but peter pan is a very close second.
SUPPORT THE CM's!
I'm starting to believe that the newest Fantasyland ride is from 1983, and that 90% of them date back to the 1950's. That's as it should be, Fantasyland has the BEST small rides and there's no point in changing something so perfect. Thrill rides belong in Tomorrowland (they really don't but Disneyland's management for the past 30 years seems to think that way, so oh well) but Fantasyland should always put imagination over thrills and I just don't see the current Imagineering department being able to pull something spectacular off without the aid of Pixar, technology, money, or thrills. The imagination just isn't there to create a low-budget ride that blows people away like the current Fantasyland.
It's the Matterhorn Bobsleds narrowly edging out Peter Pan and Mr. Toad at the wire. No penalty kicks were needed to decide the winner in my mind in this poll, however.
Warning: Portions of this attraction are intense and may not be appropriate for younger children.
That post confused me too. At MK you do, indeed, fly over Neverland. But I assume she is referring to some aspect of the neverland scene in DL that is missing in the MK version.Originally Posted by Frogberto

Are there any videos online of these DL Fantasyland experiences? The attraction that I'm most anxious to see is Alice. When I "pick the brains" of friends who have visited DL, there are two things that are consistently mentioned: Alice and some Monstro effect in Pinocchio that apparently scares the beejezus out of you.

I absolutely love Peter Pan - especially when you swoop down to never never land - A close second is Casey Jr. It's just a fun little ride - so, "All Aboard, let's go!"
Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!
I don't know if you're being sarcastic or not, but he was talking about Fantasyland (FL).Originally Posted by wolfy999

Even with that said, I picked Alice over the mountain.
Maybe the vote should of been best "Dark Ride" in fantasyland? Maybe not, Peter Pan is winning at the moment. Does that mean it is better then Matterhorn?
I wouldn't think so.
I can see the confusion. The land and the state have the same abbrev., I first looked past it, then Florida was mentioned so I took another look, agreed and then realized where the confusion began and why.Originally Posted by wolfy999
I also think Matterhorn is in a different class than the other..it's why I pick Mr. Toad.
Matterhorn is in a weird location.
It's in Fantasyland..but then you have autotopia as a neighbor..plus the line head towards TL (I know the other side flows towards MS, but they keep the other side open most of the time), so I think MOST clump it (none Disney geeks) clump it w/ TL

I love Alice. none of the other parks has a clone of it. The way it uses its space is so clever. Peter Pan is great too, but it is over before you know it. Yes, I'm pulling for Alice to come on strong toward the end of this poll. Go Alice Go!
