They wouldn't have constructed it that way if it were a fire hazard- there are several exits inside the queue. They changed it when they implemented fast pass. The same thing happened with Roger Rabbits Car Toon Spin.

Lets think about this for a minute- would they have spent millions on a highly themed queue and not check the fire code

There are still bats, tucked up into a corner. Hard to see, but there, sleeping blissfully.

Good Point, I was just told that it was a fire hazzard having so much people inside at once. (that doesn't mean it's true) You have a good point.

Recently, theyve begun using the Indy queue a bit more. For a while, they had it arranged to where you would totally bypass the projection room with or without a FastPass.. now they let the line build up more inside and everybody gets to wait and enjoy that room.. It's great because it was really wasting a queue by having everybody bypass huge portions of the line.
I've always heard people talk about the falling ceiling bamboo pole, and I know which pole it is, but I've never gotten it to actually work, I just always spin it.. I'll have to try my hardest to get it to boom for me next time I'm there!

you have to really give it a good hard shake until it booms. It has to reset itself, so it won't go off right away if someone else did it. Every time I have done it, no one knew about it and it scared the crap ouot of everyone- its so funny.

Could you tell me what corner it is? I don't think I've ever seen them

OMG!! I've been on Indy so many times, and shaken the bamboo pole- it makes a noise..oooh scary...but when I went for the cast holiday party there was this crazy long line and my mom didn't know about the pole. So I told her, "shake the pole, it's really scary..." and when she did it made the booming noise AND the ceiling started to come down. I screamed so loud (along with most of the other people who noticed) I had never seen that before, so it was actually pretty scary. I thought I knew indy well...

For like the past 8-9 months, every single time I would shake that pole. No noise. I dont know if I just suck at it, but is the pole working as I type?

If someone else has shaken it recently it won't go.

Yesterday I shook the pole and scared the crap out of some kids behind me! It made a ton of noise, but no movement.

I gave it a good tug yesterday and it did indeed work. Scared a whole buch of peaple who were walking in the line behind me. I'm glad I know about it now. Their reactions were pricless.
