    Disneyland video from the 60's

While doing my weekly cruise around YouTube I found these great links. They are old 8mm film clips from the park. Some of them are just fantastic! I love seeing the old entrance to the park with the old ticket booths, the small crowds, and even the old Fantasyland. I hope you all enjoy these just as much!

No. 2 shows the "Retlaw 1" passenger coaches on the Santa Fe & Disneyland Railroad, being pulled by the Ernest S. Marsh! Very cool!

It's amazing how so much stuff is EXACTLY the same as 40 years ago! Disneyland has always had that unique way of reinventing itself all the time and still manage to maintain its history.

Way Cool! Loved viewing them. My folks had super 8 movies of us at DL when I was a little kid! Been a while since I viewed them. I was standing next to my seated Mom on the Jungle Cruise, my Dad was filming from the other side of the boat. I had a big grin on my face; it is a crack-up. I know I was having fun; although I was not quite two at the time. So, I suppose that the big smile could have been gas...

Re: Disneyland video from the 60's

I finally remembered to check these from home (because I couldn't at work thanks to #*!%$ WebSense). I loved them! I have a bunch of old Super-8 film reels in the bedroom closet that were filmed in the early and mid 60's. I really should get those converted to a more modern format! I haven't even had a way to watch them myself in decades...

Wow those are awesome pics.. I wasnt even born yet but it was nice to see actual video of the vintage Disneyland rather than photos. Its crazy that some things are still there and look exactly the same.
