    I'm confused about fastpass

Do you have to pay for it??
Is it located at each ride?
You just walk up and say "I want a fastpass"?
When your times up, are you able just to walk up straight to the ride and get on without wait??
Will I need it for October?

I have read the fastpass thread, and I'm confused LOL LOL LOL

    Re: I'm confused about fastpass

    Fastpass comes with park admissions.
Only some rides have it, the most popular rides. I think the thread has the complete list.
There is machines that issue the fastpass to you after you insert your park ticket.
I assume you only have that window, but some say they don't expire and will work anytime after the first posted time.
And when I went in June, we never used fastpass, mainly because the wait for the fastpass time was more or less the standby wait time and there was nothing we really wanted to do in that time period.

No additional charge, you do need a valid pass or ticket.

Not every ride has FP, a lot of the big E-ticket rides do.

Look for the FP machines, they are generally near the stand-by entrance to the ride. Ask a CM.

You get to pass a lot of folks in the stand-by line. Generally there is a seperate entrance/line for the FP. You do not go to the front of the line, you generally merge up close to the front.

You do not need FP, but it is wonderful to use. You can really shorten the amount of time you spend in line!

Fastpass is a system, you use your park ticket at machines set up at each individual ride, it gives you a one hour time slot to come back and bypass the "stand by" line. they are free, but the really big rides seem to run out early on busy days as there are a limited number for each ride. You can get a fastpass every two hours or when the time for the one you currently have expires. You will probably be okay without them in october but you can get them and make a short wait basically no wait. You may want to use it for haunted mansion holiday if the fastpasses are being used at that time, Hm only uses fastpasses when its very busy, during holiday .Hope this helps.

Fastpasses expire at the end of the day, you are not limited to using the pass during the one hour window printed on the pass. You may use it anytime after the initial return time.

Some people may disagree but trust me, we do this every visit and have had CMs tell us the same thing.
