Fun fun day, albeit very VERY hot with a tinge of humidity too. After the DFB's left there were some more attractions ridden, and a quick trip to First Aid to fix Grumpybroken4's boo boo finger. Then, the Cove Bar meet! Got there at 6 and had some lovely cocktails and food, and we saw Christopher Lloyd and entourage walk by us looking like they were having a good time too.
I left around 8ish and got home to it being 94º inside my shut up house - UGH! But what a fun day it was with such a nice big turnout. So glad to see new faces, and a bunch of old ones too. Love ya guys!
Happy 51st Birthday from MOUSEKETEER LONNIE >>>> www.mouseketeerlonnieburr.com<<<< from the original show. I appeared with the Mice on July 17, 1955 in a parade and a musical number/roll call outside what was then the Mickey Mouse Club Theatre (years later the Fantasy Land Theatre) in our first TV show prior to the MMC premiering October 3, 1955 - the same day as Captain Kangaroo! Wanted to join in the birthday hoopla and suggest my site to those of you interested in the original Mice and our series, which, as you may know, has rerun in every decade since the last run on Vault Disney, Disney Channel 1995-Septemper, 2002. I just joined Mice Chat and may be reached at [email protected] Blessings and Greetings to all. Lonnie
Wow, Fishbulb I think you actually outdid yourself on this report. Kudos! I always love signing in on Monday morning so I can see all the fun you all had on Sunday and also the status of DustySage's amazing hair. Does he use some type of futuristic gel to get it to look that great all the time?
Great pics Fishy! Sorry I missed so many folks, but not sorry to miss the heat. Those of you hardcore partyers that stayed through the Hearthstone Meet, glad I caught you guys at least
Lonnie: that's really cool! I'm sure lots of people would love to discuss the Mouseketeers - you should start a thread about the show in the Entertainment forum, perhaps share some insider anecdotes?
Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe...
Looks like a fun day! Huge meets always are!
Thanks for sharing!
Love the Dusty dashing through ther parking garage one!
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
Great pics. I finally got to meet several of those people whose faces I always see in pics when I made it to Cove Bar and Hearthstone last night for the drinkup. I didn't get catch everyones name or get to meet everyone so it was good to be able to put a name to some of the faces I saw last night but didn't meet.
