7/15 Trip Report w/ Pictures!

Hey everybody! First of all hope EVERYONE's having a GREAT summer. Yesterday I went to disneyland with some of my school buddies. It was quite exciting. We left Diamond Bar at 6:50 and got to the park around 7:10. Got in line and waited till the OPENING. In the morning till lunch, we rode Pirates of the Caribbean, Matterhorn, Splash Mountain , Space Mountain, Autotopia, Star Tours, Haunted Mansion...and I think that was it. THEN we ate lunch at the Blue Bayou. I had the Prime Rib and I split with my friend. I heard on one of the topics here that if you split the plate you do get your own soup or salad, but my friend and I only got one small cup of gumbo. But the gumbo was good. The Prime Rib didn't seem different at all from the old Prime Rib. We also ate the Flying Dutchman which was DELICIOUSS. It's not really a FANCY dessert, but the chocolate chip cookie was nice and warm and chewy. It was really nice being in the Blue Bayou when outside it was in the high 90s/low 100s. It was REALLY hot yesterday. Overall, just another GREAT Disneyland day except for the fact that they cancelled Remember due to weather. Although I wasn't terribly crushed because I can go back plenty more times to watch it, I felt really bad for the people that come here from far away and have one opportunity to watch the wonderful firework show. I know it's not a possible idea, but I wish Disneyland would produce some kind of show they could put on when wind conditions are not favorable for the fireworks show. Some people wait for a LONG time... anyways without further a due... here are some of the pics that were taken on my trip.

I was there yesturday to. I had also knowest that the Parade of Dreams was short this time. They didn't stop the flaots and dance to the Welcome song and they didn't have Walt's famous saying. I think it was do to the heat.

Looks like you accomplished quite a bit in one day, a very hot one, to boot. I don't think I would could have survived all days with those temps. Thanks for sharing!

Just another thing I wanted to add was that Disneyland has started to put up more permanent like signs that direct the huge crowd after the fireworks. They're signs that are lit up from the inside and are put in holes in the ground during the evening hours closer to the fireworks. They help direct people through Frontierland to get access to other parts of the park. I only saw one last night in front of the entrance of Frontierland. I was not able to get a picture of it because I did not have a camera with me at the moment. I think Disneyland has been doing an exceptional job with crowd control considering the circumstances.
