Lone Pirate on The Columbia

Anyone seen and have pictures of the "lone and crafty buccaneer" that comandeers the Columbia?

I saw him on Thursday. I wanted to ask him about his goatee. Is he the only Cast Member allowed to have facial hair?

But, when does the Columbia sail?

Is she now sailing regularly?

Before you could never board in the mornings when the Park opened.

Everything is stopped a couple of hours before Fantasmic.

I don't know if the Columbia sails during off seasons.

I hope this new pirate thing means there will be more availablity.

Pisces... Columbia is still starting around 10am or so, and ending before 5pm (to prepare for Fantasmic), and yes, off season, the ship doesn't run. But the pirate thing was pretty funny, and somewhat cool. I enjoyed it.

Thank You very much! I will be seeing him on Sunday. Does it still play that terriable music and story around the island? Well I guess the story isn't that bad, but the music was a little unbearable.

I never "HATED!'' any of the songs, it was just too long. It felt very surreal untill the singing started. The captain shouting commands and narrating the whole thing was really "Disney" and is always welcome in my book but once he stopped talking the songs started up and didn't really have anything to do with what was just said. It felt odd. I know I don't burst out in song once my wife stops talking... very often

I felt like there should be one song that sums up the whole experiance at the end as you are pulling back into port.

You can see him, milling around on deck, but then once the Columbia starts moving, he does his thing....
