    Goofy's Kitchen question

My family will be checking into the DLH on Mon Aug 21. I have a PS for 6pm for Goofy's Kitchen. Now I'm wondering if a better time would be a late breakfast before we check out on Friday. The whole reason to eat there is so my 3 year old son can meet Goofy and the other characters, and I'm wondering if the character interaction is better late in the morning rather than 6pm, which I'm guessing is a very busy time. Does anyone have an opinion?

The characters might go on break late morning.

Your best bet is 5 pm when everyone's there and ready to interact. But, 6 isn't bad.

It doesn't matter how busy they are, the characters go to every table.

It's when they aren't busy....that the characters go on break.

Busy is good....it means they'll be fully staffed.

Besides, I like the range of food choices better at dinner!

    Yep, Pisces got it.

6 pm would be fine. Fully staffed cast of characters, all ready to interact with the guests and provide a great time for all.

After 7-7:30, they begin to disappear for the night. Same thing early in the morning. They aren't in "full force" yet.

At least that has been our experience, and we frequent GK as a family at least 6 times per year.

    Have a GREAT time!

Thanks for the replies. It's good to know that 6pm is a good time. We'll be coming from Seaworld and checking in sometime around 3. A 6 pm dinner will give us time go swimming first.

We love Goofy's kitchen and have never had a problem seeing characters- just make sure you plan to spend a couple of hours there - take your time so your kids can dance with Goofy and see all the characters.

Will trade husband for Disneyland and DCA Pins!
