They did the same deal for the renewals last year. You could pick either the Goofy one of the TOT one when you renewed by mail. We got the TOT one (six). This year, we'll get Tink.

I am pretty sure that you can only renew your passport if you are within 2 months of expiration on your current passport. Also, you can only renew your passport in 1 year increments.

The first time I saw the Goofy ToT one being used for a discount I took it and ran around showing all my coworkers... then apologised profusely.

i LOVE my TOT pass. its a great design... altough, i'm not too much of a goofy fan... but oh well. the bellhop they used for all the promo shots/comercials would have been much cooler... but its still a great design.

if you renew this early i'm guessing disney would just stick you with a new AP that would expire April 2006 instead of October 2006 if you were to renew in October when your pass actually expires. I don't know if this is how it would work since you'd be trying to renew so soon, but thats my guess and thats why i mentioned the whole 'saving money' thing..

I didn't renew in late December last year. When I tried to renew in early March, I was told that I could not renew, but that they would send me a new temporary passport that had to be brought to the Park within 60 days. So I went last weekend, and got my new Goofy passport. I asked about the 50th passport but I was told that it was only for people who renewed through the mail. So when I got back, I called guest relations. I asked if it was possible to get the 50th passport by paying afee or "losing" my passport. The CM told me that the ONLY way that you can get the 50th passport is by renewing thru the mail.
I strted thinking that they'll probably have them when I have to renew by mail next year since it's an 18 month celebration. I sure wish I had renewed by mail when I had the chance.

i live in nevada, so i would have to wait until i was at the park to get another AP. if i go too late i may not be able to get the 50th design because of the renewal by mail privilege choice would be over?

I just got an email from Disneyland. You can't renew your AP any earlier than 30 days prior to the expiration date of your current AP.
