Just wait till October... I'm sure they'll still have the 50th design... You can get the design then and save some money... I got the renew-by-mail Tower of Terror design in December and it had been out for a long time already... I'm sure the 50th design will be around in October since the 50th celebration lasts until fall 2006.
I know it'll be around. I was just thinking of having it early. And unless the AP is going to go down in price by October, I don't see how paying for it then instead of now is going to save me any money. If I have the money now, why not renew?
I dont have a graphic, but I have seen it -- it's got the CGI tinkerbell on it flying horizontally accross the card. The image is also "metallic" in appearance. Personally, I think it's the best AP we've issued to date.

If I were allowed to renew now, I'd get the new AP design, and I'd have an extra year added to my pass (new AP would expire 10/06). So I would get my money's worth from the remaining time on my current pass, plus I'd have the following year already payed off. But they may have some rule where you have to be a couple of months away from your current pass's expiration date to renew.
Right now, I'm more concerned about seeing what the new design looks like. I've heard people talk about it, but I can't find any photos. Yes, I searched Google.
Doesn't the 50th have tink on it? Someone posted a pic of it on another thread....
Marge: Barnacle Bill's Home Pregnancy Test? Homer, shouldn't we have gone with a better-known brand?
Homer: But Marge, this one came with a corn-cob pipe!
Marge: [reading from the test box] "Ahoy, Maties! If the water turns blue, a baby for you! If purple ye see, no baby thar be!"
Homer: So, which is it? Blue or purple?
Marge: "If ye test should fail, to a doctor set sail!"
