    Talking Disney Muggles

    So, do you know any?

    I do.

They call The Haunted Mansion... the Haunted House. They call Disneyland Cast Members... employees. They call Donald... Daffy.

    Know what I'm talking about?

    Hee hee.

I talked to my little sister last night. She went to Disneyland and said she missed the Fantasia showing because it was too crowded. Fantasia? It's Fantasmic!, silly pants!

    LOL

My mother constantly calls WDW Disneyland, I gave up trying to correct her. Although I am the first person she asks if she has a question, so I guess she at least knows where to get the correct answer.

Oh and I am working on my boyfriend, he actually watched the Travel Channel the other night for the behind the scenes special on WDW. I'll convert him yet!

My partner likes Epcot because there'd alcohol there. He says it helps him prepare for the Disney experience. Ha ha.

Everyone calls WDW Disneyland in the UK! Drives me crazy!
It annoys me so much that once in science some people were behind me talking about their upcoming trip to 'Disneyland', and someone saw me flinch (I know, I need help!) and knew that it was Walt Disney World cos they had heard me rant before.

    Hah!

I went to WDW w/ some friends in '02 and they were calling the Magic Kingdom, Disney World. I kept telling them, "no, the whole thing is Disney World. The Magic Kingdom is the Orlando equivalent to Disneyland..."

Beercot is not as bad as Busch Gardens where the older aged ladies are wearing very revealing outfits that they shouldn't be wearing and chugging some free sample beer. It's sad. LOL

Oh I hate that! I was talking to a friend of mine one time and I told them I am going to WDW and they were like, "Oh, have a great time on Dumbo." and I told them, "No, we are skipping MK this time around." They go, "But you said you were going to WDW."

    Re: Disney Muggles

While we were waiting for Chip (or Dale, I don't remember, but I know which is which) a dad next to me (with a kid too little to know the difference anyway) told his son "Wave to the squirrel!"

I can't think of any right now, but I'm always correcting my grandmother on stuff like that. She loves the Mark Twain but I got to remind that it is the MARK TWAIN otherwise I get some answer I have to fix.

One time, some of my high school buddies and I were talking about how safe the park is (or isn't, according to Josh) and he mentioned the accident on the Columbia, but I was exceedingly confused when he called it "The Jolly Roger". Dork!

Waiting in line for The Haunted Mansion once I heard a mom tell her kid "Oh, this is the ride with Eddie Murphy on it."...

After the haunted house, we should all go on the log ride.

LOL - you shouldn't be smacking yourself.

I didn't want to come across too much as a Disney-nazi knowitall, but well, I like facts and accuracy.
