Captain Jack Sparrow

On Sunday, my boyfriend and I ate at the Cafe Orleans restaurant and had an amazing time. And then Jack Sparrow came out and I almost died laughing. Why you ask?

Captain Jack was walking up to where the pirates do their little musical numbers, followed by a gaggle of girls. He decided to not go there and then walked the opposite way, followed by the same gaggle of girls, and it just kept increasing. I could not stop laughing - I don't think I've seen something like this EVER. and the sad part?

i wanted to join that group of girls.

Re: Captain Jack Sparrow

I laugh every time I see him out. It's just how he interacts with the people. I always see more ladies then small children wanting to take a picture with him and then when a small boy or girl comes he acts like the children are deadly almost acting like the Kraken chasing him. The one time when my Gf and I laughed so hard was when Jack was leaving some older man screamed Kraken on the river and Jack jumped 5 feet in the air and took off running in the traditional Captain Jack sparrow arms wailling in the air run. It was the best thing ever.

Yes! This guy is great! My sis and I happened to be following the crowd at one point and we were having SOOO much fun watching him ignore everyone who wanted his attention and be totally Jack we followed for a good ten minutes till he went upstairs in the courtyard. I must say all the pirtates are awesome. Love them!

Re: Captain Jack Sparrow

Hahaha! Great stories. My friend thoroughly freaked poor Jack out with her stuffed Pikachu (this was after the Anime Expo, she went as Ash Ketchum). The first time we went up to him, he looked scared of it...he asked her what it does, and she replied quite honestly, "It's an electric mouse pokemon, it shocks people that make it angry." He -quickly- moved over to the other side, and made her hold it out and away from him when they took a picture. XD The same day, second time we swung by him, she had my "Jack Sparrow" bandanna and braids on the Pikachu doll...she went up behind him and tapped him on the shoulder...he turns around, and the minute he saw the plush in the braids, he goes "WHOA!" as loud as possible (exactly same intonation as Jack used when trying to wake up Will's stable master in the first movie), and I swear half of NOS did a startled jump and swing around to see what happened. The people in line were cracking up. xD My friend told him, "Look what you did to my Pikachu, Jack! You're a bad influence!" he said in reply, "See, I did not trust that thing from the start, and now it's starting t'look like me." Just...was utterly hilarious.

Re: Captain Jack Sparrow

I'm not sure how many actors are out there for DL's Jack, but from what I've seen casting did WELL.

Wow, proper english just doesn't really follow the whole emphasis thing sometimes... here goes again:

From what I've seen, casting did a REALLY good job.

Re: Captain Jack Sparrow

I met this captain jack guy at the movies. He was hilarious. He had everything from Jacks slurred speech and drunken walk to his hat, compass, sword, pistol, boots and so on. He apparently has a business where you can hire pirates to mingle at your parties. thought it was funny. Here is the website haha: http://www.pirate4hire.com/
