    I LOVE you tube!!

    Why????
Because I'm in Australia, ans I can type ANY ride at Disneyland into search and watch a video of the rides.
This has been really good for the kids, because even though I can tell them what the rides are like, seeing them is so much better than how I can describe them.
We are coming to Disney in October, and this is getting them really excited about coming.
Our favourite at the moment is this :

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X7woJN8KNqM&NR

    The Electrical Parade!!!!
So far we have watched Pirates, Splash Mountain, Pooh, Tiki Room, BTMR, and the parade.
I'm of now to "see" Indy!!

The last time I was at Disney was back in 1993, so many of these attractions I haven't even seen!!

Thanks for the tip! Even through the computer I get a chill with the introduction, and the sight of the Blue Fairy, and all the memories that Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade means to me.

Not quite for the same reasons, but I love Youtube like a fat kid loves cake. Kids in the Hall, SouthPark, Family Guy, viral videos--all on Youtube.
I'm thoroughly addicted, and don't expect it to last, in its current form, much longer, once the corporate SS clues in.

Incidentally, I've noticed a lot of Australians on this site--maybe Disney's next project ought not to be Shanghai but Sidney!
Forget 'Great Moments With Mr. Lincoln,' Samantha Brown is Disney's most sophisticated animatronic.

I live 2 miles away from Disneyland if Walt would've built it at Riverside and Buena Vista.

Tassie, I don''t know if the DVD stuff is the same where you live as it is here, but here Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl was released with 2 discs. On the second disc there is a segment called "Pirates in the Park". You click on that and then wind up another page. On that other page you can click on something that allows you to watch clips from the "Disneyland" show in the 1960's that feature Walt & his imagineers working on the original Pirates ride. Then you get to watch footage of the sets in Disneyland being decorated and the animatronics being built. Then you get to see clips from the rides opening day ceremony at Disneyland and then YOU GET TO VIRTUALLY RIDE THE ORIGINAL ATRRACTION, as it was in the 1960's .!!!
