Whoa. thats intense. While my friends and I support CHOC and participate in the walk we never knew anyone who went to CHOC for medical care. Your story makes our efforts more meaningful. Thanks for sharing and Im glad you son is doing well.

The walk starts in Disneyland then moves across to DCA and ends in Downtown Disney. The walk ends before DL opens. Seperate addmission will be required to reenter the park after the walk. in the past i know they let CHOC Walkers buy discounted day tickets to the park but i dont know if they are doing that this year.
I have a question -- with so many people saying they are walking that day, how many of you will be sticking around for the MC noon meet at the hub? I ask because that is the day I finally get to come to one of the meets and I'd hate for it to be a smaller one because people are too pooped to party!!
I was going to actually do the CHOC walk, but DH said unlikely. My Tink, now 8 was a "micropreemie" and got some great care at a hospital here in Washington, but I always believe that all the hospitals are great in that they work together and find ways to make the preemies outcomes even better.
*micropreemie - under 2 pounds at birth. She was born at 24 weeks and weighed 1#, 7oz. Now - a happy healthy 8 year old starting 3rd grade next week!!
I love my awesome crazy wonderful friends!!
