Question who else is dreading the return of HMH?

i love the Haunted Mansion! but i cant stand HMH its really irritating and very low budget. in my opinion it should stay the regular HM year round anyone else share the same thoughts toward HMH?

HMH was cool at first but I usually find myself wishing "Last Year" was the last time.
    IMO - YMMV - FYIGM

Not me, I enjoy HM and HMH equally! They both have great qualities that I look forward to each year.

I'm looking forward to it - Haunted Mansion is just boring now.

At least in HMH, you have some neat Eye Candy to look at.

How can you dread the return of HMH? Sure the NBC overlay is...well "neat" for awhile but it I prefer the original HMH

The HMH Overlay is anything but cheap. If it wasn't for that overlay we would still have the mouldy smelly carpet, the old soundtrack that was missing parts and didn't work half the time, the old lighting, a non floating Madame Leota plus lots of other things. And the new A/A figures they put in, far from cheap. I love the HMH overlay and look forward to going on it every year.

I enjoy it while it's here, but I hate the fact that it takes away the regular Mansion for so many months out of the year. This year was especially hard since they extended it for the refurb. (Which was soooo worth it, but still.)
    A signature should go here.

FYI, HMH stands for Haunted Mansion Holiday (the NBC version). The original, non-layover Mansion is HM.

Re: who else is dreading the return of HMH?

I finally got to see HMH last October and thought it was a great change, it was a fun twist to the HM. It is only up for a short amount of time but I'd never want it to replace the original attraction.

I really didn't like the HMH. I like the original. My kids liked it though.
