![]() | Re: Best spot for Remember... Fireworks? Just to follow up on this thread, I was just given M. Duck's entry regarding his experiences in viewing the fireworks. You may find this helpful: ![]() ![]() As a further follow up to my personal experiences, I saw the fireworks last night from the center of the hub, slightly off center (to the East, or "right" of the hub when facing the castle). The view is appreciably better from that close up, although again, the trees can be a problem, and were a problem from that vantage point when trying to view the matterhorn or the early portions of Tinkerbelle's flight. While watching the parade in a different area of the park, I saw people ask CMs "where's the best place to watch the fireworks?" The CMs mentioned Small World and the Hub as equal, and mentioned that the best view of Tinkerbell was from the Carousel area, although I think that the advice given is not entirely correct (about Small world, not Tinkerbell). Also, if you're watching the 7pm parade from another place than the hub, it's too late to get the best center seats - most people watch the parade from there and then stay there. The family listened to my advice, but then decided to watch the fireworks from Town Square, at the beginning of Main Street, so that they could make a quick exit afterwards. I'm sure that they saw things just fine from there, but it's not the same as seeing everything closer to the castle. Last edited by RobotMirror; 08-23-2006 at 11:10 PM. |

![]() | Re: Best spot for Remember... Fireworks? Back with another quick review - after being delayed on Pirates last Thursday, we had a chance to see the fireworks from the "Fantasmic" location. There was no Fantasmic show that night, so no crowds, which made this location great. I had previously expected it was too far, and the buildings in Frontierland too high, for this area to be of any use. The main fireworks launched from near toontown lined up perfectly from the River, right in front of the Royal Street pirates exit. From that area, I was also surprised that we could see at least a large part of all of the following: * Tinkerbell; * The "pinwheel" fireworks near the castle; * The "stretching room" effect; and * The Indiana Jones fire flumes. Not a bad area to watch the fireworks from if you are in the area anyway. |
