With my trip just 19 days, this thread couldn't have come at a better time.

Re: Favorite Thing To Do @ DCA

My favorite things to do at DCA was to ride Grizzly, TOT, and eat at Taste Pilots Grill. I know its not the fanciest places to eat, but I really like being able to order from the computer screen and then throw whatever I want on my burger. I'm silly like that.

But TOT is my favorite ride there, I love it! Even if it's not as grand as the one in MGM (I loved that one too, when I was there I kept riding it over and over with my sister). I love how its all spooky inside and the effects of the ride. Although it's not an original at DCA, it's still fun!

I really enjoy Soarin, but nothing beats the Sun Wheel. In the swingy cars. Right around 9:25 pm.

I will ride GRR anytime. Even if it's 50 degrees out! I did that in February awhile back. I like to ride TOT but I have to sit next to the wall and every time I ride it my leg not by the wall will start shaking uncontrollably after the first drop. It's quite comical to watch and it usually doesn't stop until I get out of the building. It makes walking down the stairs hard!

Cal Screamin, Tower of Terror, Monster's, Drawn to Animation, or just sitting in the lobby and enjoying the music and Disney animation playing above. So fun.

Not Legs, Leg! It is the strangest thing. Whatever leg is not by the wall is the one that shakes. I have sat on both sides of the elevator and it's only the leg not by the wall. My DH tries to hold my leg hoping to stop it but it does not work.

I like Soarin' and the Animation Lobby. Then head over to Whitewater Snacks to eat, while avoiding the hiddeously themed pier area and accompanying horribly themed carney attractions.

I am not brave enough to ride the swinging cars on the Sun Wheel. However, I did ride the stationery one on the last night of my trip to Disneyland last year. The view of the Fireworks from up there was wonderful.
