Re: If you had to get rid of one.

I'd quit and let someone else make the decision.

    Too hard, too hard.

I guess if I looked at it logically right now, POTC has just had a major refurb, so it would be cost-prohibitive to get rid of it at this juncture. The again, HM works with seasonal changes, such as the Haunted Holiday.

Both are integral to the park, but right now POTC is the money spinner. With what will in all probability be a highly profitable trilogy behind it - as opposed the few dollars the HM film pulled in - it would be more logical to get rid of HM.

However, thankfully I don't have to make such a decision and both continue to draw crowds regularly.

I'd sooner hang myself in one of the rides than choose to get rid of either. They are my 2 favorite rides in all of Disney I couldn't choose and wouldn't.

Neither!!! I'd sell my organs and body parts to support them both.

If it's just a matter of space in the NOS area I'd take out Critter Country first.

If I could never ride an attraction again I could live without PotC..no wait, I could live without HM...no wait ....

That's a real Sophie's Choice kind of question. But I have to admit something...HM makes me feel like the Don Knotts' character in The Ghost and Mr. Chicken. So I guess I'd remove HM. But my goal in 2007 (2006 is too soon) is to spend less time tucked into my DH's chest and more time looking at the 999!

Yeah, that's Sophie's Choice for us, totally.

I'd give up Haunted Mansion, mainly because Pirates is my favorite ride of all time. But I'd be kicking, crying and screaming

    We pillage,
    We plunder,
    We rifle and loot...
    Drink up me hearties,
    Yo Ho!
    We kidnap and ravage,
    Give HM the Boot...
    Drink up me hearties,
    Yo Ho!
