I have used a timeshare to stay outside the park, but I'm not sure if you can stay in the park with one?

The Disney Vacation Club utilizes the DL Hotels.

Try calling them to see if they "reciprocate".

We use our Disney Vacation Club (yes, it's a timeshare) points at Disneyland several times a year.

We just bought into Worldmark in April. They currently have only one resort in Anaheim but just broke ground on a second one. We have not yet stayed at the current resort in Anaheim, but might as soon as the new one opens. I know that isn't exactly what you asked, but I just wanted people to know that other timeshares companies have resorts in the area.

If the devil had a condo, you know it would be a timeshare. Please read all the fine print. In the Pacific North West, we have one called TRENDWEST who claims the moon but in reality is a poor poor excuse for a vacation or even a company.
