I can't believe you just posted pictures from the actual ride and said they were your models... and then superimposed a giant cat at the end for effect! j/k

The models are great and look realistic. The light looks exactly to the ride's equivalent. You should be an architect major or something? We did projects in college like this all the time for grades.

Fantastic and very cool! Model building builds character and skills.

Reminds me of the time that my brother's and I tried to recreate POTC in our garage one halloween with much less success (this was before HM opened so I guess that dates me).

    Great job!

Re: MY Pirates Of The Caribbean

Wonderful job. You really have a skill with lighting and texture. That's EVERYTHING people get wrong when they attempt something like this, and the fact that you got it so perfectly in such a short amount of time is not only frightening, but absoutely worthy of praise! I even like your sculpting of the pirates... you made it almost avent guarde with your own flair, yet it still reflects the original. Please make sure to document this as much as you can, maybe even get a friend to videotape a walkthrough of it, followed by a lit overview. You can defenitely use it in the future when you want to impress a certain company

Oh.... and just a tip to get those 'flames' working (I hope this helps): use a very very light silk material (white or translucent) lit with a bright flickering light with a red gel, followed by a counter flickering light with an orange gel. Then you have your WDI 'fire'.
