    Aye, matey!

Awesome job! I love the happy/drunk pirates best. Quite the jolly rum drinkers. And your cat is cool, too.

The mechanism for the Captain and the heads is very simple.

You will have to refer to the diagrams.

Down below the fort and the ship is this mechanism. A motor that is always running, turns a gear that turns the "Main Rod". This rod has three "Second Rods" that move with the Main rod in a circular motion. On each second rod, there are "character rods" that are vertical rods that the character is attached to. These move up and down making the character pop up from behind the edge of the set then hide down behind the set. The Captain is part of this mechanism too.

The body of the figure is attached to the set. His arm is attached to his body by a stationary hinge that lets his arm go up and down . His arm is a little longer, passing the hinge, to another hinge that is attached to the character rod which moves up and down, which moves the Captains arm!

I hope this explains it and made sense!

    How did you do that???????
Tell you the truth I'm doing models of POTC, HM, and the Subs! They are on a much smaller scale with less effects! Sub Pics can be up once I found out how to post pics like you just did and both POTC AND HM will be up by October! Later I will post my HMH mockup!
