Re: Fast Passes are the new Ticket Books

Getting back to the subject of the thread, I read thru all the posts and did not see the following point made. With the old ticket books, you could save them and bring them back with you next time. Or you could just buy more books. You cannot buy FastPasses and you cannot (legitimately) bring them back for later use.

So I think the comparison between the two is a poor one.

i want fast pass to work better than it does , it has really only helped me once , last december we got a fast pass for Space Mountain , and the return time was nearly 7 hours away , when we came back we walked right past what looked like an hour or so of waiting... not bad... other than that , it does'nt save much time for me

No, as stated in the original post.. It's how you ration your valuables.. with tickets it was $$.. with FP its how you ration your time (another valuable asset). In the past you would have to decide how to spend your tickets.. now you have to decide how you spend your FP opportunities.

The 'cant return' point I don't think is really valid.. if anything the difference is that FP is an equalizer. You can't buy yourself more FPs or more 'decision opportunities' like you could with tickets. With tickets.. have a hard time deciding? Screw it, buy more tickets if you can afford it. With FP, you don't have that option.. everyone plays by the same rules.

not to mention fast pass is free and tickets had to be bought....so it would make since one could bring their paid for tickets back to use, but a free fast pass....nope....I don't really understand the argument....tickets will nto be coming back and fast pass will stay...deal with it and move on. If you don't like fast pass then don't use it...easy solution...

Come on.. I thought it was deep thinking at it's best!

I like my 'fp opporunity' concept.. I'm gonna trademark it! And I'll get royalities in the form of VMK credits!

    Ok.. enough of that
