Red Face Question regarding Disneyland entrance

    Hello,

I was wondering, because of the terror alert, if we bring a water bottle in the park, are they going to confiscate it? I'm going to the park with my 2 year old tomorrow and usually we bring a water bottle and his sippy cup, but if they're going to take it away cause it has a liquid in it, i'd rather leave it home!

    Please...don't give them any ideas!

You should be good to go with no problems at all. Disneyland has not yet adopted the full TSA model for security. Thank God.

We have not gone to that level yet. You should be OK with the water and sippy cup.

Just tell them if they take away the sippy cup, the child will explode! (As in throw a fit!)
"He who knows only his own side of the case, knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them. But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side; if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion" --John Stuart Mill

Since they don't even have metal detectors, I don't think they are going to have a problem with you bringing a water bottle in. You'll be fine.

You should be fine. Although, when I visited on Thursday a guy was just trying to breeze through the security check since he didn't have any bags, which is normally an okay thing to do, and I was about to do it as well, but the security check CM told the man to stop and said "we are checking every guest very thoroughly today"

Nobody was patted down, no metal detectors, nothing confinscated, but she did look him over and make sure he wasn't carrying anythnig conspicuous in his hands, and I'm assuming she made sure there werent any curious bulges in his pockets.
